Financial Transparency
One Body Ministries fights poverty in India by drilling clean water wells, delivering emergency meals, and funding education for children in overlooked communities. Financial transparency sits at the heart of everything we do here. Every one of those wells and meals starts with a donor who trusts us with their gift. As a result, we treat financial transparency as a non-negotiable part of that trust. We also make our full financial picture available to anyone who wants to see it.
Below, you’ll find proof of our financial transparency: our current Form 990, our Candid Platinum Transparency rating, and information about how we govern our organization. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, however, contact us directly. We’re happy to answer your questions before you give.

Two Ways to See Our Financial Transparency
We don’t just tell you we’re transparent — we point you straight to the primary sources. That way, you can verify our financial transparency yourself. First, our Form 990 shows the IRS-reported numbers: revenue, expenses, program-vs-administrative allocation, and governance. Second, our Candid Platinum profile goes even further. Because Candid awards Platinum status only to organizations that publish detailed program goals and results, not just finances, that profile gives you one of the most thorough independent looks available at how a nonprofit actually operates.
Together, these two resources demonstrate our financial transparency in full. You see exactly where your money goes and what it accomplishes. No guesswork is required.
Our Form 990 and Financial Filings
As a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 84-3327707), we file a Form 990 with the IRS every year. However, we go beyond that requirement. We also make the filing easy for you to review directly, in keeping with our commitment to financial transparency.
Our current Form 990 shows:
- Revenue — where our funding comes from, including individual donations, grants, and other income
- Expenses — how we allocate contributions across programs, administration, and fundraising
- Governance — our board of directors, leadership structure, and any compensation
- Program outcomes — measurable results from our work in India
An Independent Financial Transparency Rating You Can Verify
You don’t have to take our word for it. Candid (GuideStar) independently reviews nonprofits’ finances and practices. In fact, we’ve earned the Platinum Transparency Seal — Candid’s highest level of transparency. Because our Candid profile includes program details and results beyond what’s in the Form 990 alone, it adds another layer of financial transparency to everything we share.
Governance and Leadership
Our volunteer Board of Directors oversees every dollar we spend, reviewing our finances, programs, and strategy on an ongoing basis. In addition, you can see who serves on our board and learn about their backgrounds on our leadership page.
